How do I clean and maintain All Steel pure and Norden uncoated stainless steel pans?
Uncoated stainless steel frying pans are easy to clean and care for. With proper maintenance, uncoated stainless steel pans can last a lifetime. Consider these tips whenever you’re using your All Steel pure or Norden uncoated steel pan:
- Before first use, wash the uncoated frying pan.
- After each use, clean the inside and outside of the pan with hot water and washing-up liquid or wash it in the dishwasher.
- If you burn the pan, you can clean it easily with a wire brush or a plaster stone. You can also let the pan soak in warm soapy water for 15-20 minutes before you hand wash it. This will remove any burned-on food.
- Eggs and other protein-rich foods are particularly prone to sticking to an uncoated frying pan. Remove them easily by adding a half a teaspoon of baking soda into the pan filled with water; let the pan and mixture sit on a warm burner for a while. Lastly, hand wash the pan or put it in the dishwasher.
